On March 14, Vitoria presented the Wine & Senses project. An initiative that aims to boost tourism in four European rural wine regions and generate tourism circuits.

The plan brings together different entities and companies from Spain, Italy, Hungary, Portugal and the Czech Republic. This collaboration is in order to make the vitivinicultural heritage a protagonist. The Santa María la Real Foundation presented this initiative in the framework of the “International Wine Tourism Conference”.

The main objective of Wine & Senses is to design routes combine heritage, landscape, history and gastronomy. All this with wine as the axis so the visitor can enjoy it with all the senses.

Routes that turn each itinerary into a true sensory experience for the traveler and away from mass tourism. Also, betting on a sustainable enjoyment of the territories, with hiking activities, guided tastings, musical performances or guided visits.
